The First Templar follows two main characters – a French Templar and his noble lady companion who have both been labeled heretics – on an epic quest through France in 1248 AD to discover its mysteries, take part in grand plots, discover Holy Grail secrets and defeat powerful adversaries such as Sacracen, King Philip IV of France and Inquisition. There are both single player and co-op modes available with solo playing modes supporting switching between characters while leaving control of second hero to AI; at any point another player can join in and take control over this role or simply switch characters themselves at anytime during gameplay to join!
