Bayonetta 2 Action Games is an action hack-n-slash video game developed by PlatinumGames and published by Nintendo for Wii U, following on the 2009 title Bayonetta. Directed by Yusuke Hashimoto with Atsushi Inaba and Hitoshi Yamagami from Nintendo producing, under series creator Hideki Kamiya’s supervision. Players control Bayonetta as she fights angelic and demonic forces using a combination of melee attacks and gunplay while dodging enemy attacks at the last moment trigger ‘Witch Time’ which slows them down allowing Bayonetta’s opponent’s attacks while giving her time retaliatory strikes as she can use to easily return fire while solving certain environmental puzzles.
