Halo 2 Action Games was developed and released for the Xbox video game console on November 9, 2004, by Bungie as the second installment in their Halo franchise, following 2001’s highly praised Halo: Combat Evolved. As in its predecessors, this shooting game predominantly employs first-person gameplay with players using human and alien weaponry and vehicles to progress through levels; rather than providing health bars visible on screen players are provided with an impact absorbent shield that recharges when unfired upon.
