Samurai Warriors 2 is an action packed hack and slash videogame and the sequel to Samurai Warriors, released back in 2010. Samurai Warriors 2’s gameplay builds upon that of its predecessor by adding new characters and features, such as moving away from traditional range attacks in favor of two character-specific special abilities that differ between battles. Survival Mode, one of the original Samurai Warriors features, returns as part of this sequel game. Players select their character before traversing an endless castle in Survival mode. As an additional feature of Samurai Warriors 2, Sugoroku minigame can also be enjoyed; up to four players may participate simultaneously by selecting different characters; this mode aims at collecting an agreed upon amount of gold (determined by player settings).
