Takeover is a side-scrolling beat’em up inspired by 90s classics such as Streets of Rage and Final Fight, offering both solo playback as well as local co-op in any one of three modes; Arcade, Survival or Challenge. Combat your way across 7 stages and 20 unique locations using any one of four playable characters or switch among them in real-time using Relay Mode – unlockable after beating every stage! Gameplay centers around an innovative combo system which lets you link punches and kicks. Quickly take out enemies by landing blows to them on the ground or stun blocking, or throwing them up into the air before continuing your juggle! Maintaining combos quickly filling your Super meter quicker for unleashing devastating attacks! Find and use weapons such as crowbars, swords, machine guns and sidearms scattered throughout each level to increase your odds. Each character also comes equipped with their own sidearm and ammunition is limited – use it wisely! The game may be easy to get into but more importantly hard to master! This game’s soundtrack includes music by Little V Mills, Richie Branson, James Ronald and Yuzo Koshiro! There are three difficulty settings – Easy, Normal and Hard. Hard mode’s game always starts from Stage 1, there are no continues and enemies become faster, more aggressive and greater in numbers; making for an especially challenging old-school beat’em up experience! Art style comprises prerendered character sprites built for 1080p resolution backgrounds built with real time backgrounds built using 1080p or above resolution backgrounds for greater realism; story is presented via comic book style cutscenes.

Download and Install The TakeOver

3. Once The TakeOver Fighting game has downloaded, right click its.zip file and choose “Extract to The TakeOver.zip”. In order to do this you need 7-Zip which can be obtained here.
4. Double click inside of The TakeOver to launch its executable application.
5. Play and enjoy! Be sure to run the game as administrator and if any missing DLL errors arise, look for a Redist or CommonRedist folder and install all programs located there.
